Free time that unexpectedly becomes available will be wasted. - Sandiland's Law 😣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Looking at the next 2 weeks of my staycation, driven by this law, I'm trying to fit in the following:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - Planning a creative photo project I have in mind for a while.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - Re-watching LoR, The Dark Knight, and a couple of Guy Ritchie movies.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - Finishing a couple of books I have in my plans.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - Completing a remote photo class I started back in August.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Probably the plan is designed to fail. But at least I will have fun trying! 😅⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What plans do you have for the remainder of the year?

"I have nothing to wear! 😱" Ugh. I hear that way more than I would like to. 😅 Almost every client freaks out about the fact they don't have the right outfit for their photo session. If you are one of them - you are not alone! So how do you find something that is aligned with the style of your upcoming session? ➡️ Your own wardrobe Yep. You won't believe how many times my clients underestimated their wardrobes! Sometimes it's enough to just take your fav sweater and combine it with a cute bottom and a bit of accessory - and you are the most stylish person on the street! 🤘 ➡️ Friends and family Ask your friends around! Or hit your parents' closet for unexpected combos. And do you know how cute an oversized boyfriend's suit looks on a girl? 😍 ➡️ Rent it There are many places that allow you to rent a gown or a suit. Just a quick google - and you are looking at the tons of beautiful dress or suit options. That includes wedding and prom boutiques. Some places I managed to find allow you to rent pro theatrical costumes! I was amazed. ➡️ Buy and return It's entirely legal to buy something and then return it! Just make sure to keep your receipts and labels. And always check if the item is returnable and is not a final sale. 🙈 And of course, if you have a session planned with me, shoot me all your wardrobe photos, or plan a video call from Winners, so we could dress. 👏🏻 you. 👏🏻 up! 🤩 Did you have a "nothing to wear" problem? Do you know money rule the relationships?⠀ ⠀ Look.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Let's say here are two partners living together, maybe married.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Common household, but each of them hides their cash in their socks, just so they are separate, you know. Money is not discussed. They have different goals.⠀ One of them wants a vacation, another - to buy a tiger. 🐅 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How quickly do you think one of them runs out of patience when they come home and see the tiger?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Leaving out aftermath like heads bitten off right on the spot (not necessarily by the tiger), as a minimum it would end up with a pass to the psychologist's office. As a maximum - divorce.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's not my opinion, these are facts.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 41% of gen Xers divorced due to disagreements about money. Almost a half, can you imagine! These are adults, who couldn't find a way to talk about common goals. And numbers are not better across other generations.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To compare, abuse as a cause for divorce is at 25% (which is still a horrifying number). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Can we start changing it? Of course!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If the aforementioned individuals talked, they would realize their goals are very compatible! You can plan both, and make compromises. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Plus returning from a vacation with a tiger is double fun! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So please talk money with your partner the earlier the better.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Building goals together and achieve them is dope. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Because even if you have separate bank accounts and your own dreams, you still go together somewhere.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And if you don't, then what are you two doing together anyway?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Now, tell me: has it ever happened? Money debates?
